"You took the things he gave you and gave them to the president without even knowing who he is? If something happens, can you take the responsibility?" The manager shouted in a deep voice, looking at the woman who lowered her head, and asked, "Where is the thing?"
"It's just a note, and I gave him the paper and pen, with just the words written on it, nothing else." The woman said in a low voice.
"Give it here." said the steward, stretching out his hand.
The woman hesitated for a moment, bit her lip and shook her head: "No, the young master said that it can only be given to the president."
"To the president? Does he know the president? Do you know what his purpose is? He just casually gave something unknown to the president. What if something goes wrong?"
"But this is the note, the note with words written on it." The woman said in a low voice. Because she was a relative of the president, she was not very afraid of the black-faced manager.
"Take it out!" the steward shouted again, his anger obvious.
"What's all the noise like?"
An old man came out, glanced at the two people outside, and frowned: "What are you two arguing about?"
"Third Elder, is the president here?" the woman asked, stepping forward quickly.
"The president is discussing something with several of our elders. What do you want to do?" the old man asked, his eyes falling on the woman.
"A young man outside asked me to give this to the president." The woman said, holding out the note.
"Give it to me!" The elder stretched out his hand to signal her to take it, but she took a step back. He couldn't help but raise his eyebrows and stared at her, "What are you doing? It's just a piece of paper. I asked you to give it to me, and I will help you take it in, isn't it?"
The woman thought of the elegant nobleman, and how he looked at her with a smile, telling her that she could only give it to the president in person, and that she couldn't peek, so she clenched the note in her hand and said, "Then, that gentleman said that only I can give it to the president in person."
She knew she shouldn't have done that, but for some reason, when she thought of the young man's smiling eyes, she became confused. She just felt that since the young man trusted her so much, she should do a good job.
The old man took a deep breath and cursed, "Blockhead!" He walked inside and saw her still standing there. He shouted, "Come in with me!"
"Yes." The woman smiled happily and followed him in.
The president was discussing something with several elders. When they saw the third elder coming in with a little girl, they were startled and looked at each other and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Hmph! Let the little girl speak for herself." The third elder snorted, flicked his sleeves, walked to his seat and sat down, picked up the tea and took a sip.
"President, there is a young man outside who asked me to give you a note." The woman walked forward with a happy smile, handed him the note and stood aside.
Hearing this, the president was slightly surprised. After looking at the woman, he opened the note and took a look. His expression changed slightly and he even stood up from his seat.
"Where is that young man now?" the president asked anxiously.
Not knowing why the president looked like that, the woman hurriedly said, "The young master is waiting outside."
