Xi Yaheng stood beside her, stretched out his long arms, glanced at the row of drinks, took a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and handed it to her, "Long time no see!"
He sounded like an old acquaintance whom he hadn't seen for many days.
Fang Chixia actually didn't know him very well. Even when she lived in the palace earlier, she didn't meet him very often.
However, Xia Heng said so, and Fang Chixia did not refuse to give him a step.
"Long time no see!" She took the juice in his hand and gave him a slight greeting.
"Are you interested in chatting?" Xi Yaheng took a cocktail for himself, picked a chair next to him and sat down.
"What do you want to talk about, Your Highness?" Fang Chixia chose a seat across the chair from him and sat down. He took a sip of the drink in his cup and waited calmly for him to speak first.
"Nothing, just a casual chat. Chengxi's friends are friends of the entire royal family. It's rare for Miss Fang to come over. Yu Li, it should be our royal family who is responsible for the reception." Xi Yaheng's lips curled up slightly, holding his hands as if nothing had happened. The wine glass is swaying.
"Your Highness, you're welcome." Fang Chixia spoke to him in a very calm tone.
Xia Heng raised his head slightly and drank all the wine in the glass in one gulp. He chatted with her as if nothing had happened, "Do you know Auntie well?"
"Mrs. An Qi is a very good person, easy-going and kind. I have known her for many years and have taken many photos of her, so we have a good relationship."
"Really?" Xi Yaheng seemed to think her words were a bit ridiculous, and there was a touch of ridicule at the corner of his lips. He turned his eyes to her, and the expression on his face stopped, "You know, aunt has never been nosy, and she hasn't interfered in so many years. When it comes to outsiders’ affairs, you are the first!”
Fang Chixia was startled slightly, and the hand holding the wine glass trembled slightly.
"Really? That would be such an honor for me."
"Do you share many of the same hobbies as Madam? It's obvious that she likes you very much." Xi Yaheng looked at her calmly, his blue eyes narrowed.
Fang Chixia bumped into him out of the corner of her eye, her eyes glazed over.
Why are you looking at her like that
Fang Chixia had an inexplicable feeling that he was trying to trick her.
But, what are you trying to do with her
Fang Chixia considered her words and answered casually, "No, isn't that the case between people? It's easy to get close to each other when we talk. Maybe my personality is just what Madam likes. Or, Madam just thought that I was an orphan without any background, so she was willing to accept me."
"Were you an orphan before?" Xi Yaheng repeated her words and raised his eyebrows slightly, "Miss Fang's character doesn't look like her."
What he meant was that she was overly positive.
Fang Chixia made no comment on his words, "Really?"
"Which orphanage did you grow up in? Has Madam sponsored her before?" Xi Yaheng sipped the wine in his glass and asked seemingly casually.
"When I lived in the orphanage, I didn't know Madam." Fang Chixia thought about An Qi's attitude towards Prince Heyman, and was always a little wary when talking to Xia Heng.
An Qi doesn't seem to be close to the Heyman family. Even if she acts close to outsiders, in Fang Chixia's eyes, it looks more like acting.
"As for the previous orphanage, it was too small at that time. Now I can't remember the people and things there, as well as the location of the orphanage."
"Really?" Xi Yaheng seemed a little surprised.
"Yes, Your Highness!" Fang Chixia gave him a positive reply, brushed his skirt and stood up.
