The Path of the Sage

Chapter 1613: Sacred Bone Treasures

Fang Yun gave Jiang Hechuan a positive answer.

Afterwards, Fang Yun continued to reply to everyone's letters. Fortunately, letters did not have to be written stroke by stroke, but could be done directly with the mind. Fang Yun could complete dozens of letters in an instant.

A quarter of an hour later, an ordinary letter came. Fang Yun was not prepared to read it carefully. He just glanced at the signature and had to read the letter.

Because the person who sent the letter was Kong Delun, a good friend of Shengxu for many years.

When Fang Yun became a virtual saint, each family presented him with great gifts. The Yan family presented him with a city in the ancient land of Shihan, the Mencius family presented him with a great Confucian literary pen with holy blood and holy bones, and the Confucius family presented him with a fiefdom in the ancient land of Confucius.

Kong Delun said in the letter that the Kong family already knew that Fang Yun had returned, and since the Grand Secretary's realm had been stabilized, he should find time to go to the ancient land of Confucius and accept the Kong family's fief. However, there was a condition for accepting the Kong family's fief in previous dynasties, that is, to lead troops to open up a new buffer zone, so the Kong family did not give the ancient land immediately at that time. After all, Fang Yun did not have the strength to expand the territory in the ancient land of Confucius at that time.

Because one of the patriarchs of the Kong family once said that the ancient land of Confucius does not need defenders, it only needs conquerors.

Fang Yun thought about it and realized that the ancient land of Confucius was very dangerous. Generally, only great scholars would expand the territory, and the power of the university scholars was limited. So he sent a letter to Kong Delun, saying that he had now completely consolidated the power of the realm of knowledge in the war world and was about to enter the realm of sincerity. There was also the realm of right mind behind it, and he had to wait until he reached the realm of right mind before he could go to the ancient land of Confucius.

After Fang Yun delivered the letter to Kong Delun, he took a short break and thought about the state of sincerity.

A great scholar in the realm of sincerity has a sincere heart and is truthful. He either remains silent, but once he speaks, he must express his true thoughts; or he does nothing. Once he has something he wants to do and cannot convince himself, he must do it regardless of whether it is good or evil.

Once you violate the power of sincerity, you will fall to the realm of knowledge.

The state of sincerity is a peculiar threshold for the great scholars. Many great scholars are blocked by this threshold. They repeatedly try to enter the state of sincerity but fail again and again and retreat to the state of knowledge.

The state of investigating things is to explore the laws of all things, the state of seeking knowledge is to understand the laws of all things, and the state of sincerity is just to know oneself and figure out what one wants and what one should do, which seems to have nothing to do with the previous and next states.

But in fact, only by recognizing oneself can one integrate with everything and reach the state of a righteous mind.

Sincerity can only prevent oneself from being blinded by oneself, while a righteous state of mind can prevent oneself from being blinded by anything.

Scholars of the human race often laugh at the bad guys among the university scholars. This is because many university scholars struggle in the state of sincerity and constantly know themselves in the state of sincerity.

Fang Yun experienced the mountain of books and gained some insights in his heart. In fact, whether reading or taking the imperial examinations, they are all about investigating things and exploring the laws of all things. The experiences in the mountain of books, especially the last few mountains, are about acquiring knowledge and understanding the laws of all things.

Once you leave the mountain of books, you need to know yourself so that you can better understand the world.

Because many mistakes made by many people are often due to not knowing themselves, not knowing what they need, and not knowing what they should do.

Knowing oneself is always one of the most difficult things for human beings to do.

Therefore, the state of sincerity will become a threshold that many great scholars cannot cross in their entire lives.

The state of sincerity is very unique.

Fang Yun had heard a long time ago that the stupid scholar Tian Songshi would stay in other realms and other literary positions for a long time, but he only stayed in the realm of sincerity for one day before entering the realm of upright mind.

Many people thought this was a story. Later, Tian Songshi publicly admitted that he was indeed "in a sincere state of mind in the morning and a righteous state of mind in the evening." This incident was even recorded by historians and scholars as a reliable history.

Many people asked Tian Songshi what he did that day and what allowed him to improve his realm within one day. Tian Songshi said that that day was no different from the previous or the next day. He did the same thing he did on normal days. Then, without any sign, he reached a positive state of mind at night.

Equally interesting is the Grand Secretary Hua Jun, who was extremely talented. He was promoted to Grand Secretary at the age of 47. Within six months, he was promoted from the realm of investigating things to the realm of attaining knowledge, and then to the realm of sincerity. This speed even surpassed many geniuses such as Yi Zhishi.

But after his first promotion to the Sincerity Realm, Old Man Huajun began his legendary life. He was already ninety-five years old before the Wenqu Star split. During these forty-eight years, he kept regressing to the Zhizhi Realm and then constantly promoted to the Sincerity Realm, over and over again, without interruption, and he never entered the Right Heart Realm.

Even so, old man Huajun did not give up his pursuit of women. He could not enjoy himself without women every night and had many wives and concubines, becoming one of the four wonders of the human race.

After the Wenqu Star was split, Elder Huajun was unprecedentedly promoted to the Zhengxin Realm, and soon became a top university scholar. He is working hard to break through to the level of a great scholar, and is being hotly discussed by scholars from all over the country.

Old Man Huajun and Ben Daru, the same legend, but they took completely different paths.

Fang Yun remembered that he had not yet sent a letter to Tian Songshi, so he found Tian Songshi's letter, read it again and then replied.

Tian Songshi's letter was very different from others. He simply narrated some of his own experiences, saying that he was preparing to go to the Holy Burial Valley. He then asked Fang Yun how he was doing these days and whether he had any insights into the holy way. They could communicate with each other.

After replying to Tian Songshi, Fang Yun took out the sacred writing brush given by the Mencius family when he became a saint from the Yinjiangbei.

The great scholar's writing brush is usually made from the bones of great demon kings, with the dragon bones of the great dragon king being the most valuable. Except for a very small number of people who use holy bones to refine special great scholar's writing brushes or key parts of mechanisms, most of them are used as materials for semi-holy writing brushes.

The semi-saint refining treasure consumes a lot of holy bones, holy blood and other things from the saints. In the past, in order to refine the armillary sphere, Zhang Heng accumulated enough holy bones, holy blood and other things to assemble ten bodies of semi-saints from the demon race, not to mention the core of the armillary sphere, a great saint's arm.

Only the Confucius family and the second-best sage family would be willing to use the holy bones to refine a great scholar's literary pen. Moreover, this kind of literary pen is only given to great scholars who have made contributions in the family. Once the great scholar dies, the family will take it back.

An ordinary great scholar's treasure pen can form 50% of treasure light when writing war poems. A special treasure pen can form up to one complete layer of treasure light, and a holy bone treasure pen can directly increase two layers of treasure light. At the same time, the war poems sealed by the holy bone treasure pen are all war poems of great scholars of the second realm.

This sacred bone writing pen contains the famous Confucian defensive war poem "Fu of Three Capitals".

Before the rise of war poetry, there was a genre of literature that allowed scholars to transform the vitality of heaven and earth for their own use, and that was Han fu. However, Han fu was too long, often with thousands or even tens of thousands of words, making it difficult to use in battle, and was gradually eliminated, but it is still considered a branch of war poetry.

Although this type of fu-style war poetry is lengthy, it has more power once it becomes a war poem because of the large number of words and detailed description or narration, but it also consumes more talent.

This kind of war poem is not suitable for discussing war on paper on the battlefield, but if it is sealed in a literary treasure, it can be released instantly, making fu-style war poems the first choice for many powerful literary treasures.

This "Fu of Three Capitals" is a Han Dynasty fu written by the great Confucian scholar Zuo Si. It describes the capitals of the three dynasties of Wei, Shu and Wu. After the fu was completed, people competed to copy it, which eventually led to the famous saying "Paper was in great demand in Luoyang".
