When Qin Zhou returned to the cellar with some wild fruits, Mu Ning had already fallen asleep holding Murong Jin.
Seeing that she covered Murong Jin with all her clothes, Qin Zhou took off his coat and gently covered her with it.
"You're back. Hey, why are you alone?" Mu Ning was awakened and got up gently.
Qin Zhou handed her the fruit and said softly, "The village is under martial law now. It's not easy to go out with you. He's gone to look for reinforcements. Eat this. I picked it in the woods. There's nothing to eat nearby."
"Yeah, thank you Miss Qin." Mu Ning held the fruit and started to eat it.
Seeing that she was really hungry, Qin Zhou handed her two more: "Eat slowly, no one will snatch it from you, just leave one for Hutou."
Mu Ning took it gratefully, and the only sound in the cellar was her eating.
Thinking back to what Fan Qingyi had just said, Qin Zhou's eyes became even deeper.
"Miss Mu, what is your relationship with Song Ren, and why were you arrested?"
Mu Ning raised her head, swallowed the fruit in her mouth, and said a little embarrassedly: "I stole his purse, and he caught me and wanted to insult me. Fortunately, you rescued me in time, otherwise I would be in trouble."
"Well, continue eating." Qin Zhou held his sword and prepared to take a break.
Before she fell asleep, she heard Mu Ning whisper "Ouch."
"What's wrong?" Qin Zhou quickly stood up.
Then Mu Ning cried with a sad face and blamed herself: "I accidentally ate all the fruit. What will I do when the young master wakes up and has nothing to eat?"
Qin Zhou glanced at the fruit core on the ground irritably. Murong Jin was sleeping soundly at this moment, chewing his thumb.
"You take a rest first. I'll pick some more before it gets completely light." Qin Zhou did as he said. He picked up his sword and went up.
After there was complete silence from above, Mu Ning put away her guilty expression and smiled with pursed lips.
She turned her head to look at Murong Jin, tucked up her skirt, followed Qin Zhou's example and climbed up the stone stairs, gently moving the bricks away.
He waited for a while, and after making sure there was no sound around him, he stood up and tried to crawl out.
Who knew that as soon as she showed her head, a cold light suddenly flashed and a sword was placed on her neck.
"Miss Mu, where do you want to go?" Qin Zhou stared at her and said coldly.
"Miss Qin, what do you mean?" Mu Ning stared at her.
Qin Zhou's sword was only placed on her neck, and he said coldly: "This is not a good place to talk, go back."
Mu Ning glanced at her, bit her lower lip, and climbed down again.
After going down, Qin Zhou tied her hands and feet again with ropes, and then sat cross-legged in front of her.
"Tell me, who is your master?"
Mu Ning had a resolute expression and turned away directly: "I don't know what you are talking about. You tied me up like this, and I'll see how you explain it to Master Fan when he comes back."
"Master Fan, Master Fan, you're calling me that in a very intimate way. I'm just tying my own clothes, what does it have to do with him?" Qin Zhou sneered, took out a dagger and gestured next to her face, "Are you going to tell me or not?"
Seeing that she was serious, Mu Ning knew that he was exposed, so he stopped pretending with her: "Then tell me first, how did you find out?"
"Who is your master?" Qin Zhou ignored her question and repeated what he had just asked.
The blade was getting closer and closer to his face. Mu Ning could only speak: "I don't have a master. I am just controlled by others. They captured my father and asked me to do something."
