Become a disciple
Yang Qi was also stunned for a moment. You know, when he was instructing Cao Xin before, he said that he was not good at the way of ice. But Cao Xin was good at the way of ice sword. Why did he suddenly come to him to become his disciple
A teacher is someone who teaches, educates and resolves doubts!
Yang Qi himself was not good at the way of ice, so there were not many people who could teach Cao Xin. Knowing this, Cao Xin still wanted to become his disciple? This was like asking a liberal arts teacher for advice on science. Isn't this the opposite of the truth
Yang Qi looked at Cao Xin in front of him, frowned slightly and said, "Is it your own idea to come here to become my disciple?"
He and Cao Xin are on different paths. In this case, the possibility of Cao Xin taking the initiative to become his disciple is extremely small. If Cao Xin did not take the initiative to become his disciple, then it was the Cao family's top management who asked Cao Xin to become their disciple, hoping to get closer to Yang Qi through this!
Originally, Yang Qi had a good impression of the Cao family, but if the Cao family was willing to sacrifice the martial arts future of a young genius in order to get closer to him, he would inevitably feel some instinctive disgust.
Um
After all, Cao Min was a cultivator who had lived for nearly 100,000 years. When he heard Yang Qi's words, he immediately understood that Yang Qi was doubting Cao Xin's purpose of becoming his disciple!
"I hope that's not what the head of the family meant." Cao Min said secretly in his heart. He has been with Yang Qi for quite some time and has some understanding of Yang Qi's character. If the Cao family really uses this method to get closer to Yang Qi, it will only backfire!
Upon hearing this, Cao Xin was stunned for a moment before he spoke, "It was my own wish for me to come and become your disciple."
"I have been recognized by the head of the family and fought on behalf of the Cao family. The reason why I was able to defeat the previous cultivator was because of the guidance of my predecessors, so I came here to become their disciple." Cao Xin explained.
Upon hearing this, Cao Min, who was standing by, also quickly said, "Although Cao Xin's strength is good, he is still far behind the cultivator originally arranged by the Cao family."
Yang Qi nodded slightly. He had seen Cao Xin's previous ring battles in the Natural Way. Although Cao Xin's strength was good among the three-star martial kings, it was still a little bit short of representing the family in the competition. To be qualified to participate in the competition, one must at least have the combat power of a four-star martial king. After all, this was a competition between the three major forces!
"Please concentrate on practicing what you have gained during this period and let me see it." Yang Qi looked at Cao Xin and said.
Although he already believed what Cao Xin said, Yang Qi still wanted to know how much Cao Xin's strength had changed in the past few days to be able to defeat the cultivator who previously represented the Cao family!
"yes."
Cao Xin nodded, shook the sword in her hand, and performed a set of skilled sword techniques. Compared with the previous ring battle, Cao Xin's sword techniques were undoubtedly much more flexible, and even the fluctuation of the ice in it had obvious changes.
Cao Xin's original strength was about the peak of three-star Martial King, close to the half-step four-star Martial King. However, with his new understanding, the strength he burst out has almost reached the level of four-star Martial Emperor. The change is indeed huge. No wonder he was recognized by Cao Rong and others and represented the Cao family in the battle!
"Good, it seems you have found the direction." Yang Qi nodded. He had to admit that Cao Xin's talent and potential were indeed very high. He had made such great progress in such a short time, which even surprised him.
Upon hearing this, Cao Xin hurriedly said, "Senior, the matter of becoming my disciple..."
"I can't accept you as my disciple." Yang Qi shook his head slightly.
"Senior..."
Cao Xin was stunned and wanted to speak again.
"I am not good at the way of ice, and taking you as my apprentice will only delay your talent. But if you are willing, I can give you some guidance on sword practice during my time in Cao's house." Yang Qi interrupted Cao Xin.
Yang Qi came to the Zhenwu Star Region, and at most he would stay for a while, and would eventually return to the Cangqiong Star Region, after all, he had too many concerns on Earth. The Zhenwu Star Region was too far away, and it would take hundreds of years for a Martial Emperor to travel there, and it was impossible to travel between the two places frequently, which was the main reason why he was unwilling to accept a disciple. In addition, it was the reason he mentioned before, that if he accepted Cao Xin as a disciple, it would only delay Cao Xin's talent.
Seeing that Cao Xin was about to say something, Cao Min, who was standing by, quickly said, "Cao Xin, Brother Yang is not good at the Dao of Ice, so he will not accept you as his disciple."
Knowing Yang Qi's character, he naturally knew the reason why Yang Qi was unwilling to accept a disciple. Once a decision was made, it was definitely not something Cao Xin could change.
Knowing that he could not become Yang Qi's disciple, Cao Xin was disappointed but also extremely grateful. He bowed deeply and said, "Thank you, senior."
Yang Qi did not refuse Cao Xin's bow. Since the Tao cannot be passed on personally, he was instructing Cao Xin in his practice, so he deserved the bow.
Yang Qi looked at Cao Xin in front of him and said directly, "I see that your swordsmanship just now is more flexible than before, but it still lacks something..."
This time, Yang Qi's comments were no longer based on the Way of Ice, but on the Way of the Sword. His knowledge of the Way of the Sword far exceeded that of ordinary practitioners, so it was naturally easy for him to instruct Cao Xin.
"Please digest what I just said first. If you have any questions, you can ask me again." Yang Qi said.
"yes!"
Cao Xin nodded. Yang Qi's advice just now made her feel like she had been enlightened. Many unclear points suddenly became clear. However, because of this, she had too many insights in her mind that needed to be digested well. Otherwise, if she asked rashly, she would be like a headless fly.
Cao Min looked at Cao Xin who was leaving, and said with emotion, "I didn't expect that Cao Xin could represent the Cao family in the competition because of Brother Yang. This time, both the Martial Emperor Realm and the Martial King Realm have to rely on Brother Yang."
"Cao Xin was able to achieve such great results thanks to her own ability. I just gave her a few pointers." Yang Qi said calmly.
When he gave guidance to Cao Xin before, he never thought that Cao Xin would be able to make such great progress. Therefore, although Cao Xin’s progress was related to his guidance, it was more due to Cao Xin’s own talent and potential.
"With Cao Xin's current strength, is there any hope of winning?" Yang Qi suddenly asked.
"The chance is slim." Cao Min smiled bitterly and shook his head, and continued, "The practitioners of the other two forces are basically close to the strength of the middle stage of the four-star martial king. Cao Xin is still far behind."
After learning about the strength of the other two cultivators, Yang Qi could not help but nod his head. Cao Xin was only barely at the level of a four-star martial king, and the gap between him and the middle stage of a four-star martial king was quite large. Even if the Cao family helped Cao Xin in the following period of time and raised Cao Xin's cultivation to the peak of a three-star martial king, the hope of winning was still extremely slim.
If Cao Xin wants to win, unless he has a huge improvement in realm in the next few days, it is almost impossible to win! (To be continued)
