"Qingfeng Valley chooses to continue!"
In the void, a deep voice sounded in Yang Qi's ears. After he used the soul attack to affect Baruch, he did not continue to attack, hoping that Qingfeng Valley would take the initiative to admit defeat. However, Qingfeng Valley obviously did not intend to take the initiative to admit defeat now.
"You won't admit defeat?"
Yang Qi was stunned for a moment, but he quickly came to his senses. Although soul attack was terrible, when it was unable to kill the opponent's soul, he could only rely on Yuanli to destroy the vitality.
Once you encounter a cultivator with a strong physical body, the effect of the force attack will be greatly reduced, and it may not even be able to ultimately kill the enemy's vitality. Therefore, even if the soul attack affects the enemy, it does not mean that you will definitely win. It also depends on what kind of cultivator you are facing. However, relatively speaking, at the same level, it is almost impossible to last too long against a cultivator of similar strength just by relying on the strength of the physical body.
“Qingfeng Valley is really confident in Baruch’s physical strength.” Yang Qi shook his head secretly.
Baruch's body is indeed strong. An ordinary five-star Martial Emperor early stage practitioner may not be able to cause much damage to Baruch, but his energy attack is equally strong. It is easy to kill Baruch, let alone defeat him.
But this was just a competition after all. Yang Qi and Baruch had no grudges against each other, so it was impossible for him to kill him. Otherwise, he would not have used soul attacks to expose him. With his soul means, he could have completely annihilated part of Baruch's soul.
Whoosh~
Yang Qi moved his hand, and a sharp black sword light shot towards Baruch. Since Qingfeng Valley refused to admit defeat, he could only continue to attack and force Baruch to admit defeat.
Bang! Bang!
Sword beams kept falling on Baruch's body, quickly consuming his vitality. After Baruch's life force was obviously weakened, Yang Qi stopped and withdrew the soul attack he was maintaining.
Wow~
As the soul attack withdrew, Baruch suddenly woke up.
"More than 30% loss of vitality?" Feeling the loss of his own vitality, Baruch's face changed, and then he looked at Yang Qi not far away.
Finding that Yang Qi didn't seem to have any damage, Baruch's expression changed again, "He didn't have any damage?"
At the same time, Baruch began to hesitate. He couldn't be sure whether Yang Qi was bluffing and unable to continue the soul attack, or was showing mercy!
"Come again!"
Baruch's face changed for a while, but he finally decided to make another attempt. After all, Qingfeng Valley offered a considerable reward, and the reward after winning would be even more generous, so he naturally didn't want to give up.
Whoosh~
Baruch urged the war hammer in his hand. This time, he did not hold back at all. He burst out with all his strength. The power of the war hammer that attacked Yang Qi reached the mid-stage of the six-star Martial Emperor.
"break!"
Facing Baruch who was coming to kill him again, Yang Qi felt something in his heart. He knew that he had attacked too lightly before, so he did not hold back this time!
Boom!
The black sword light and the huge war hammer phantom collided with each other. With a loud bang, the black sword light directly pierced through the war hammer phantom and then fell on Baruch at an unslowed speed.
Poof!
The sword light fell, leaving a bloody hole in Baruch's body in an instant. The terrifying power directly blasted his body thousands of feet away. However, with this sword, Yang Qi did not launch a soul attack!
"How is that possible!"
Looking at the bloody hole on his chest and feeling the draining vitality, Baruch's face was filled with disbelief. If he was affected by the soul attack, it was because he was not good at the soul, but now in a head-on collision, he was still at a disadvantage, which was the difference in their strength.
"this… "
Not only Baruch was stunned, but the practitioners who were watching the battle were also stunned.
Yang Qi’s previous soul attack on Baruch had already made them feel incredible. They didn’t expect that he would still have an absolute advantage in this head-on collision. It was unbelievable that a five-star Martial Emperor in the early stage had such terrifying strength!
"Who is he?"
At this moment, one thought emerged in everyone's mind.
It is incredible that a five-star Martial Emperor who has practiced for less than three thousand years is already incredible, but this person actually possesses a strength comparable to a six-star Martial Emperor in the late stage, or even more powerful. Even in the Zhenwu Star Domain, he is a heaven-defying monstrosity that only exists in legends!
Gu Yu looked at the situation on the stage and murmured, "How could it be..."
He was unwilling to admit defeat before because of Baruch's strong physique, but now, all this has become a joke. Baruch is still no match for Yang Qi in a head-on fight.
“Even the monstrous evildoer from the Zhenwu Sect is far inferior to this man.” The Blood Skull Hall Master sighed in his heart.
As a Nine-Star Martial Emperor, he had a clearer view of the battles on the ring, and also knew more clearly what a monstrous villain like Yang Qi represented!
Although the injured one was Baruk who represented Qingfeng Valley, Chen Chen's face was also extremely ugly, and his eyes couldn't help but look at Baili Xiang beside him.
"I'm no match for him." Baili Xiang smiled bitterly and shook his head.
If Yang Qi was only good at the soul, he could still deal with it, but Yang Qi's energy attack and soul methods were so powerful that even he could not be his opponent.
Baili Xiang looked towards the arena, his eyes fixed, and he slowly said, "Although I am not his opponent, I still look forward to fighting him."
It is a rare opportunity to fight against a monstrous monster like Yang Qi, especially since the other party is also good at the soul. Maybe he can gain something from it. Baili Xiang naturally does not want to miss such an opportunity!
"Senior Yang Qi is so powerful!"
Cao Xin's face was full of admiration, she had never seen Yang Qi take action, but now that she saw Yang Qi taking action, she realized how terrifying Yang Qi was. He had practiced for a short time, but his strength was so incredible!
Cao Xin's eyes narrowed, and he thought to himself, "In the next competition, I can't embarrass Senior Yang Qi."
Although Yang Qi did not accept her as his disciple, she was extremely grateful for his guidance and had already regarded him as her master. Yang Qi was so powerful that it would be too embarrassing for him if she were defeated.
At the same time, Baruch in the void said with a wry smile, "I give up!"
At this point, Baruch knew that Yang Qi had shown mercy by letting him wake up, and the head-on collision was also to let him see the gap between them. If he continued to fight without knowing what was good for him, he would be asking for trouble.
Wow~
As Baruch voluntarily admitted defeat, the protective formation on the ring disappeared, and Yang Qi and Baruch appeared on the ring. At this time, everyone's eyes were on Yang Qi.
Yang Qi won. This was something that no other cultivator had expected except for the top leaders of the Cao family. But now it has really happened! (To be continued)
