In addition, the one who fell was a powerful being at the level of an emperor. Even if he had fallen for countless years, he was definitely an existence that should not be underestimated. Yang Qi naturally did not dare to be careless at all.
"not good!"
Just as Yang Qi was getting closer to the palace, he suddenly shouted loudly, and at the same time a silver-white light flew out from his body towards the palace. The silver-white light was exactly the strange silver-white metal he had obtained before.
Just now, the silver-white metal seemed to be summoned by something and suddenly flew out from Yang Qi's body.
Buzz~
Almost at the moment when Yang Qi flew out of the silver-white metal, the Yuanli in Yang Qi's body surged and turned into a huge Yuanli palm, grabbing towards the silver-white metal.
As soon as Yuanli's palm touched the silver-white metal, Yang Qi felt a strong pulling force. It was obvious that there was something in the palace that was attracting the silver-white metal.
Boom!
Just as Yang Qi was about to exert force again, the pulling force in the palace suddenly increased, and at the same time a powerful aura burst out from the palace.
Whoosh~
Disturbed by the sudden burst of powerful aura and the sudden increase in pulling force, the silver-white metal instantly accelerated and disappeared directly at the entrance of the palace.
"hateful!"
Looking towards the entrance of the palace, Yang Qi's expression turned a little ugly.
Although he didn't know the origin of the silver-white metal for the time being, he had a hunch that the silver-white metal was definitely not comparable to ordinary treasures. Now it was lost, it was impossible for him not to be annoyed.
Although Yang Qi was a little annoyed about the sudden loss of the silver-white metal, he did not rush directly into the palace. Not to mention the pulling force that had stalemate with him before, the powerful aura that suddenly erupted from the palace just now made Yang Qi realize that the danger inside the palace was definitely not small.
“Since a cultivator at the Martial Emperor level was able to enter before, see the emperor’s corpse, and exit safely, I think it shouldn’t be too dangerous. However, we still can’t be careless.” Yang Qi’s eyes focused and he continued to walk towards the palace, but he was more cautious than before.
After all, when the silver-white metal was lost before, he had already seen the means contained within the palace. If there was any danger, even Yang Qi would be in big trouble.
However, maybe Yang Qi was thinking too much. Until he arrived at the entrance of the palace, the palace had not changed at all. It seemed that the pulling force and even the sudden burst of powerful aura were all Yang Qi's illusion.
But precisely because of this, Yang Qi became even more cautious, because this meant that all the dangers were inside the palace!
Whoosh~
Without any hesitation, Yang Qi stepped forward and rushed directly to the palace entrance in front of him.
After entering the palace, there was a wide and tall corridor. Walking along the corridor, Yang Qi soon came to a hall. In the center of the hall, there was a figure sitting cross-legged.
“There is no breath of life, but the remaining power on the body, although not too strong, is extremely sharp.” Yang Qi’s gaze fell on the figure sitting cross-legged. His eyes focused and he instantly determined that the figure in front of him should be the corpse of the powerful emperor mentioned by Prince Tours.
"What about the silvery-white metal?"
Yang Qi looked around, but after a while, he found that the entire hall was empty. Apart from the figure sitting cross-legged, there was nothing else.
"Silver-gray beads!"
Not finding the lost silver-white metal, Yang Qi had to look for the silver-gray bead that Tours needed. According to Tours, the silver-gray bead was next to the corpse of the powerful emperor.
"No."
After carefully examining the corpse, Yang Qi did not find the silver-gray bead. Could it be that it was taken away by the previous Martial Emperor and not given to Prince Tours
Um
Just as this thought flashed through Yang Qi's mind, his expression suddenly changed, and his eyes were fixed on the figure sitting cross-legged.
"That was..."
Yang Qi's eyes narrowed. As a strong man in the Martial Emperor realm, because his powerful soul is good at perception, he did not think that what he had seen before was an illusion.
"really!"
Carefully looking at the sitting figure, Yang Qi's pupils shrank and he became extremely alert, because the sitting figure moved, and the movements became more and more vigorous.
Crackling~
Accompanied by a strange sound, the figure who was originally sitting cross-legged suddenly stood up and looked towards Yang Qi's position.
"That is..."
Looking at the figure standing up, Yang Qi's face suddenly changed, his eyes were fixed on the right eye of the corpse, he saw that the right eye of the corpse was replaced by a silver-gray eyeball, the silver-gray eyeball was covered with fine lines, just like the meridians and blood vessels around the eyeballs of ordinary people.
"The silvery-white metal from before."
Looking at the figure's strange right eye, Yang Qi already understood why the silver-white metal in his hand was sucked away by the palace. It was because of that eyeball.
The silver-white metal that Yang Qi found before will fuse on its own, and the silver-grey eyeball is almost exactly the same as the previous silver-white metal except for a slight difference in color. Obviously, the two are the same thing. It should be that the silver-grey eyeball felt the silver-white metal in his hand before, so it absorbed the silver-white metal and fused it!
“No wonder the Martial Emperor back then couldn’t get the silver-grey bead. This thing actually resides in the corpse of a powerful emperor. If you want to get the silver-grey bead, you may have to kill the corpse in front of you.” At this moment, Yang Qi finally understood why the Martial Emperor who saw the silver-grey bead ended up returning empty-handed, because he simply couldn’t kill the emperor’s corpse in front of him.
That’s right, it was a corpse. Although the corpse could move, Yang Qi did not feel any breath of life. It was still just a corpse. He just didn’t know why the silver-gray bead could make the corpse move.
Yang Qi had seen tarsal corpse worms and soul-eating worms before. The former could control corpses to fight, and the latter could even live in the bodies of living practitioners. However, this was the first time he had seen something like the silver-gray bead, which was not a living being but could control the actions of corpses.
"What is the origin of this silver-gray bead?" A thought flashed through Yang Qi's mind.
Although Prince Tours had told him some speculations about the silver-grey bead, according to Prince Tours, due to the war that year, the relevant information was lost, so what he knew was very limited. He only knew that the bead was related to the guardian, and it seemed to contain other secrets. (To be continued)
