As he continued to move forward, this feeling became more and more obvious, especially when he met several practitioners along the way, Yang Qi could easily see the solemnity on their faces. It was obvious that something seemed to have happened to the Thunder Clan during the time he entered the Creation Thunder Pool.
"Senior Lei Lin, has something happened to the Lei Clan?" Yang Qi looked at Lei Lin standing aside and asked the question in his mind.
Hearing this, Lei Lin could not help but fall silent. After a moment, he smiled bitterly and said, "Since you have figured it out, I will not hide it. Originally, after you disappeared in the Fortune Thunder Pond, the clan leader and several elders came to the Fortune Thunder Pond together, but something happened later, so they left first."
I see!
Hearing this, Yang Qi also understood why he had only seen Lei Lin in the Fortune Thunder Pond before. You know, Lei Lin said that the Thunder Clan leader once wanted to go to the space below the Fortune Thunder Pond to look for him, but left because he received a message from the Thunder Source Beast.
Under normal circumstances, Yang Qi would not find it strange that the Thunder Clan leader had no time to see Yang Qi. However, Yang Qi entered the space below the Fortune Thunder Pool, and even received a message from the Thunder Source Beast while the Thunder Clan leader was looking for him. In this case, even the Thunder Clan leader would be curious about him. However, he did not see the Thunder Clan leader immediately after leaving the Fortune Thunder Pool. It turned out that something happened, causing the Thunder Clan leader and others to leave first.
"What happened?" Yang Qi asked curiously.
Lei Lin glanced at Yang Qi and said in a deep voice, "The Ancient Clan is here."
Ancient tribe
Yang Qi was startled, then a bitter smile appeared on his face. Before entering the Thunder Pool of Creation, he had talked with Lei Lin about the Ancient Clan. He didn't expect that after coming out of the Thunder Pool of Creation, the Thunder Clan would come from the Ancient Clan.
"Why are people from the Ancient Clan here?" Yang Qi looked at Lei Lin in confusion.
Although the Thunder Clan and the Ancient Clan have some connections, they are two different clans. Moreover, the Ancient Clan also controls an alien universe and is not a clan on the same level as the Thunder Clan. How could the Ancient Clan suddenly come to the Thunder Clan
“In fact, thousands of years ago, people from the Ancient Clan came to the Thunder Clan once.” Lei Lin sighed.
Thousands of years ago
Yang Qi was stunned, and the time when he met the ancient tribe in the chaotic star sea flashed through his mind. It was thousands of years ago. Could it be that the other party had come to the Thunder Clan
“Speaking of which, because of the ancestor, we have some connection with the ancient tribe, and even the ancient tribe has the ancestor’s blood.” Having said this, Lei Lin paused before continuing, “So the ancient tribe has always wanted to accept our Thunder tribe as a guardian tribe, but we have never agreed.”
The life and death of the guardian clan is under the control of the royal family. The Thunder Clan has lived in the ancient Thunder Domain for countless years and is accustomed to freedom. How could they agree to become the guardian clan of the ancient clan
“At the beginning, the Ancient Clan only bribed us, but as our Thunder Clan’s strength continued to decline, the Ancient Clan has now begun to intimidate us.” When Lei Lin said this, a bitter smile appeared on his face, and he sighed softly, “The most troublesome thing is that the leader who looks after our Thunder Clan is also the leader behind the Ancient Clan, and the relationship between that leader and the Ancient Clan is even closer.”
The Ancient Clan is a special bloodline cultivated by the leader. Although the Ancient Clan has extremely obvious flaws, the strength of the Ancient Clan is unquestionable. When Yang Qi was still at the Martial Emperor level, he did not gain any advantage at the hands of the Ancient Clan's royal family.
Faced with the Ancient Clan, the Thunder Clan's greatest support became ineffective. Under such circumstances, the Thunder Clan's situation can be imagined.
this…
Hearing this, Yang Qi showed a bitter smile on his face. Although the leader was unlikely to help the Ancient Clan, he was also unlikely to stand on the side of the Thunder Clan.
It is obviously impossible to rely on the Thunder Clan alone to fight against the Ancient Clan, because the Ancient Clan has a master from another universe.
In addition, the Ancient Clan has a close relationship with a leader of the Source Saint Religion. Even the Lord of another universe, such as the Holy Lord Taixu, is afraid that it would be difficult for him to intervene in this matter. In this case, the Thunder Clan can only rely on itself.
“The ancient clan shouldn’t resort to force, right?” Yang Qi looked at Lei Lin and said.
Although the Thunder Clan is far behind the Ancient Clan in strength, the Thunder Clan has the means left by the Thunder Source Beast in their territory. That beast is a strong man at the third level of the peak of the Martial Emperor. And it is not just an ordinary third level of the peak of the Martial Emperor, but a source beast, a third level of the peak of the Martial Emperor with a mixed source holy body.
Relying on the methods left behind by the Thunder Source Beast, even if the Ancient Clan wanted to use force, they might not be able to gain any advantage.
"That's not the case."
Lei Lin shook his head slightly. Although the Ancient Clan wanted them to become a guardian clan, they did not dare to use force directly. Even though the Thunder Clan was in decline, the means left by the Thunder Source Beast were still there.
“Although the Ancient Clan doesn’t dare to use force directly, this time the Ancient Clan’s prince has brought with him several Martial Emperor-level practitioners from the Guardian Clan, and they are from the Thunder Clan,” Lei Lin said in a deep voice.
Emperor Martial Realm
Hearing this, Yang Qi was slightly stunned. Even if the Thunder Clan was in decline, they wouldn't be afraid of a few Martial Emperors, right? This was the Thunder Clan's homeland!
A lineage of Thunder Clan
Could it be...
Yang Qi raised his eyebrows, and suddenly thought of a possibility. He quickly looked at Lei Lin and said, "Are they planning to use these Martial Emperors of the Thunder Clan to compete with you?"
The Thunder Clan would definitely not be afraid if there were only a few Martial Emperors, but the other party was a branch of the Thunder Clan. There was only one possibility: the Ancient Clan wanted to use these practitioners who were also from the Thunder Clan to give the Thunder Clan in the ancient Thunder Domain a warning.
Even the few Thunder Clan practitioners sent by the Ancient Clan might very well be members of the Thunder Clan with the blood of Thunder Source Beasts. If so, once the Thunder Clan of the Ancient Thunder Domain is defeated, it would be a huge loss of face!
The Thunder Clan of the Ancient Thunder Realm was a special group that was naturally bred after the death of the Thunder Source Beast. It has been passed down to the present day and can be said to be the bloodline descendants of the Thunder Source Beast. As for the Ancient Clan, it was just a special bloodline cultivated by the leader of the Source Saint Religion with the help of the bloodline origin of the Thunder Source Beast.
In simple terms, the Thunder Clan, the guardian clan of the Ancient Clan, can only be considered a collateral branch, and the Thunder Clan of the Ancient Thunder Territory is the direct descendant of the Thunder Source Beast. Over the years, the Thunder Clan of the Ancient Thunder Territory has always regarded itself as the descendant of the Thunder Source Beast, and if it is defeated by the Thunder Clan practitioners of the Ancient Clan, the beliefs of the Thunder Clan of the Ancient Thunder Territory will inevitably be greatly impacted!
“I’m afraid so. The prince of the ancient clan has already requested a competition, and the top leaders are now discussing countermeasures.” Lei Lin sighed.
"Discuss countermeasures?"
Yang Qi's face changed slightly. Even if the Ancient Clan came prepared, didn't the Thunder Clan have any confidence at all
As if he could see what Yang Qi was thinking, Lei Lin smiled bitterly and said, "Isn't it ridiculous? We, who claim to be the direct descendants of the ancestor, are not sure of winning when facing the challenge of the collateral branch?" (To be continued)
