The reason why Yang Qi did not use the Five Elements when fighting with Lei Jiu before was not simply to hide his strength, but because he hoped to comprehend the way of thunder through the fight with Lei Jiu. Although he gained something from that fight, it was not enough for Yang Qi to comprehend the way of wind and thunder to the level of Martial Emperor.
But now Yang Qi saw hope from Lei Dang, because Lei Dang, like him, was a fusion of wind and thunder. Fighting with a practitioner like Lei Dang would undoubtedly be more helpful to him than fighting with Lei Jiu.
Whoosh~
Just as Yang Qi was thinking about himself, Lei Dang moved. His body shook and he turned into a stream of light. He swung his long sword which had been ready for a long time, and a sharp blade light tore through the void and came in front of Yang Qi.
"Stop it for me!"
Feeling the terrifying power contained in the blade, Yang Qi did not dare to be negligent. He raised the Black Phoenix Sword in his hand to block the incoming attack.
Boom!
The blade fell, accompanied by a loud bang, and landed heavily on Yang Qi's body. Under the impact of the powerful force, Yang Qi's body was directly chopped and flew backwards.
"What?"
Seeing Yang Qi being knocked back, the faces of the Martial Emperors watching the battle suddenly changed. They had just started fighting, and Yang Qi was already at a disadvantage? How could they continue to fight
"Um?"
After the attack was successful, Lei Dang looked at Yang Qi who was struck and flew away, and frowned slightly, "What a great way to save your life!"
Lei Dang was very clear about the power of his sword. Yang Qi endured the sword as if nothing had happened. His method of preserving his life was so powerful that even an ordinary two-star Martial Emperor practitioner could not match him.
"You'd better show all your strength. If this is all you have, it's not enough!" Lei Dang said with a cold smile.
Yang Qi's life-saving means were indeed powerful, but they could not withstand the power of Lei Dang's full-strength attack. If Yang Qi did not use other means, and only used the means he had displayed in the previous fight with Lei Jiu, he would definitely not be his opponent.
“With power close to that of a mid-stage two-star Martial Emperor, it’s really hard to resist without using the Five Elements.” Yang Qi sighed in his heart. Lei Dang’s strength was obviously one level stronger than Lei Jiu. It was simply impossible to win by a war of attrition.
Although he knew that he could not win by relying on a war of attrition, Yang Qi did not plan to use the Way of the Five Elements directly. Lei Dang was good at the Way of Wind and Thunder, and fighting with such a practitioner would be of great help to him in comprehending the Way of Wind and Thunder. He did not want to miss this opportunity. He would use the Way of Wind and Thunder to fight Lei Dang, so that he could better discover his own shortcomings through fighting.
Buzz~
Yang Qi's aura rose, and in a flash, it reached the limit of a one-star Martial Emperor, but he relied on the dark beetle to strengthen himself.
"Secret method?"
Feeling the change in Yang Qi's aura, Lei Dang was startled, but the next moment he frowned and said, "It's not a secret method, it's an insect beast!"
Insect beast!
Gu Zhe's face darkened, and he looked at Lei Lin and others not far away. Although the use of insect beasts was not strictly prohibited in the ring battle, it was only for practitioners who followed the path of insect beasts. Yang Qi was obviously not a practitioner of the path of insect beasts, and carrying an insect beast of the Martial Emperor Realm was suspected of violating the rules.
The head of the Law Enforcement Hall seemed to sense Gu Zhe's gaze and said calmly, "The insect beast on his body was cultivated to the Martial Emperor level by himself, and it is not against the rules."
If it was a temporary refined Martial Emperor Realm insect beast, it would naturally not comply with the rules of the Arena Battle, but Yang Qi's insect beast was cultivated by himself all the way, and it fully complied with the regulations of the Arena Battle.
"Hmph~"
Guzhe snorted lightly but didn't say anything more. It was impossible for the Thunder Clan to lie to him about such a thing. Otherwise, if they were discovered later, the Thunder Clan would only be more embarrassed.
However, the fact that Yang Qi possessed an insect beast at the Martial Emperor level was somewhat beyond Guzhe's expectations. In addition, Yang Qi himself had concealed his strength, so he had a bad premonition in his heart.
Lei Dang saw that the competition had not been terminated, and understood that Yang Qi had not violated any rules by using insect beasts. He immediately smiled coldly and said, "I didn't expect that you actually have an insect beast of the Martial Emperor Realm. It's really surprising. However, an insect beast of the Martial Emperor Realm alone cannot defeat me!"
Whoosh~
Before he finished speaking, Lei Dang rushed out again, waving the sword in his hand wildly. Blade beams filled with terrifying power attacked Yang Qi like an overwhelming force.
"war!"
Facing the incoming attack, Yang Qi did not retreat but advanced instead, directly urging the Black Phoenix Sword to meet it.
Boom! Boom!
In the starry sky, two figures were fighting each other, and earth-shattering noises continued to spread. Even if the winner was outside the arena, practitioners could feel how terrifying the aftermath of the fight was.
With the help of the dark beetle, Yang Qi had improved in all aspects, but he was still at a disadvantage in the face of Lei Dang's crazy attack. Fortunately, Yang Qi's body was strong and his recovery ability was amazing, so he could still hold on.
Looking at Yang Qi who was at a disadvantage, a martial arts emperor cultivator beside Lei Lin couldn't help but frown and asked, "What is Yang Qi doing?"
They all knew that Yang Qi did not enter the Martial Emperor realm with the Way of Thunder, but now Yang Qi was using the Way of Wind and Thunder to fight the enemy and the Way of Void to defend, and he obviously did not use all his strength. If Yang Qi had the upper hand, it would be fine, but the key point was that Yang Qi was at a disadvantage. If he continued to fight like this, Yang Qi would probably lose. In this case, why was he still hiding his strength
Lei Lin's eyes narrowed as he said in a deep voice, "He wants to use his opponent to comprehend the way of wind and thunder."
As a high-level Martial Emperor, Lei Lin's eyesight was naturally not bad. Moreover, he knew that Yang Qi's method of integrating wind and thunder was only one step away from the Martial Emperor level, so he understood Yang Qi's intention in doing so.
“Using the opponent to comprehend the way of wind and thunder?” The cultivator’s face changed slightly, and then he pondered, “Are you being too arrogant? Yang Qi is at a disadvantage right now!”
“Whether I am being too arrogant or not, you will know after watching it.” Leylin said calmly.
To be honest, he didn't quite agree with Yang Qi's approach, but the competition had already begun and it was no longer up to them to decide.
Lei Dang's way of wind and thunder is not biased towards speed, but it is a way of integrating wind and thunder after all. After a fight, Yang Qi also gained a lot.
After a long battle, Lei Dang's face became extremely ugly, and he roared, "Damn it, you forced me to do this!"
Although Yang Qi was at a disadvantage, Lei Dang was unable to defeat Yang Qi in a short time. Most importantly, Gu Zhe had told him before that Yang Qi had hidden his strength. However, since the two sides had fought until now, he had not been able to force Yang Qi to use other means. He was clearly in the upper hand, but he could not do anything to his opponent. One can imagine how depressed he was.

Before Lei Dang finished speaking, his aura quickly rose, and in a flash he reached the limit of a one-star Martial Emperor, and was only a hair's breadth away from a two-star Martial Emperor. (To be continued)
