Mangshan is located in the north of Luoyang City, also known as Beimangshan. It takes only a short drive to get there. The mountain is not high, but there are so many tombs on it that "there is almost no place for a cow to lie down". Twenty-four emperors from six generations are buried here, and there are even more tombs of generals, ministers, and princes. It is a famous burial area in China. The Luoyang shovel was invented because of the ancient tombs of Mangshan.

Although Mangshan is not high, there is an old saying that Mangshan is not a mountain, but the mountain range is long and winding, like a sleeping dragon, plus it is backed by the Yellow River, forming a situation where sand surrounds water, and wind and air are stored.
