Shrouded Seascape

Chapter 829: database

In the dark and damp room, Charles looked at the information on the computer in silence. The information from the foundation did not answer his doubts, but deepened his suspicion of becoming a god.

Becoming a god doesn't seem to be a good choice. Simply acquiring the power of gods may lead to destruction.

Thinking of this, Charles became more cautious about 005's wish. It is a very risky thing to rashly obtain power that does not belong to him. It will definitely bring disaster. The lessons of the first generation Foundation's Dawn Project cannot be forgotten.

But Charles also understood that if he wanted to gain a foothold in Earthsea, then a power as powerful as a god was also indispensable, and he had to make a choice.

Charles thought for a long time. He opened his diary again and wrote down his last wish stroke by stroke. At this moment, the three wishes were finally complete.

Charles looked at the three wishes in front of him calmly, with no ripples in his eyes. These three wishes may not solve all the problems, but they are the best solutions after careful consideration.

"Whether it's good or bad, let it be." Charles' voice was calm. He didn't want to hesitate any longer. He had hesitated too many times during this period.

After solving his wish problem, Charles did not leave immediately. After looking at the three-dimensional interface in front of him and thinking for a while, his fingers began to tap quickly again.

This time, Charles attempted to find more useful information in the foundation's database, but the final result was not ideal.

Most of the data in this computer is useless. What we should know has already been known, and some of the unknown data is not there either.

Charles stayed in this cold room for two hours. He looked up at the new watch on his wrist and quickly typed the last custom word, 001.

Soon, rows of documents appeared in front of him.

Charles quickly clicked on the first one without any hesitation. As the interface expanded, a brand new 001 document that he had never seen before appeared in front of him.

Project Code 001

Project title: Where all the chaos begins.

Object Containment: 001 cannot be contained. There is only one way that Object 001 can be absolutely indisputable [bold]

Item Appearance: 001 is a combination of two singular items. It first appeared in the mouth of Dr. L3, who had gone completely crazy.

He is some extremely terrifying possibility. We wanted to regard these as the crazy talk of a madman, but L3 convinced us and everyone in the GK Council with that extremely rigorous data.

Note: Dr. L3 was already seriously mentally ill at this time. If there were any grammatical or vocabulary errors in his statement, they would be considered correct records.

Project statement: "We were wrong. We were all wrong. All our previous inferences were wrong. We had always thought that 003 and 002 existed independently. But we were wrong."

"Indeed, from the appearance, one is a being that constantly emits purple light on the surface, and the other is an indescribable monster lying in the deep sea."

"But colleagues, our human sensory organs are extremely imperfect. Our sensory organs are simply unable to fully see the appearance of gods."

"Regarding the comparison of radiation data of 003 and 002 (see Appendix 1), I believe you have all seen it. I was wrong. They are one. 003 and 002 are separate entities. They are connected."

"You may think of 001 as a snake, 003 as its head, and 002 as its tail!!"

"No! That's not right! It might be even worse! Let's imagine 001 as a hand of a certain existence! The purple light on the surface is the little finger, and the powerful one is the thumb!"

"The Earth is between the two fingers. We don't know what 001 is. They say I'm crazy! But you can all see that I'm not crazy!!"

Charles frowned as he looked at the information above. It was a new 001.

He quickly thought of the information the Foundation had told him: all 001 documents were true, but only part of them were true.

Find the true part of all the 001 documents and piece them together, then the story is the real 001.

The various 001 documents that had appeared before appeared in Charles' mind one after another, and the true or false information in them were pieced together.

Several different conjectures were floating in his mind, but Charles himself could not judge which one was true, or perhaps none of them was true at all.

As he overthought, the tentacles wrapped around Charles' brain tightened slightly, making him feel a little bloated.

"Fuck! I don't want to think about it anymore! What the hell is 001 and it has nothing to do with me. Why should I care so much? My goal now is to find my skull." Charles said in annoyance and prepared to leave.

At this moment, accompanied by the sound of boots rubbing against the ice, Charles suddenly turned his head to look at the remaining ice on the right wall.

Although the feeling disappeared very close, Charles's keen perception still sensed the sight that appeared before.

"Da, da, da." Charles walked slowly towards that side, and the translucent ice layer gradually enlarged in front of him.

It was a triangular ice surface half a person's height, and its upper end was connected to the ceiling.

Looking at the ice surface in front of him, Charles felt a little strange. He should have used his tentacles to clear the ice around him, so where did this thing come from

Charles thought about it, raised his steel prosthesis, grabbed the edge of the ice and pulled it gently. There was a crackling sound, and the ice on the wall and the ice cones on the ceiling fell downwards under the pressure of gravity.

The ice disappeared, and a round mirror the size of a human head appeared in front of Charles. Because there was no light, Charles' reflection was not projected in the mirror. There was only darkness inside the mirror.

Recalling the gaze that had just disappeared so quickly, Charles looked at the mirror in front of him with increased vigilance, "A relic contained by the Foundation?"

After he quickly walked around it, he felt that it was impossible. This place looked like an office, not a place to keep relics.

Besides, if the Foundation really wanted to keep the relics, it would be impossible for them to simply hang them on the wall.

Charles couldn't understand what this thing was, so he didn't touch it since he couldn't see through it. He just stared at the mirror on the wall and stepped back step by step.

Shortly after Charles left, the temperature in the dark environment gradually dropped, first white frost, then thin ice, and the biting cold slowly covered everything in the room.
