Now that the war has begun, the dragon clan is very likely to join the war. If they do not distance themselves from it, when Emperor Wu Shi returns, they will probably be seen as being on the same front as the dragon clan.
It was precisely because of this that the old man invited Yang Qi and took the initiative to tell him the decision, in order to distance himself from the matter! Of course, the reason for doing so was actually because the old man and others felt that once the Dragon Clan joined the battle, the Cangqiong Palace would undoubtedly lose, and they did not want to be liquidated by the Wu Shi Great Emperor afterwards.
Yang Qi nodded secretly and no longer doubted the old man's words. In fact, if the monsters of the Cangqiong star field did not participate in the war, it would definitely be the result that the Cangqiong Palace wanted to see. Therefore, the Cangqiong Palace would definitely accept the decision of the old man and his party.
Without the influence of the war, the two sides talked again. Because of Xuan Song, Yang Qi and the old man and his group also had a good chat. The old man's natal dragon was Long Yao, and he had entered the Martial Emperor realm for hundreds of thousands of years. He watched almost all the Martial Emperors of the current generation of Cangqiong Palace, including the Wushi Great Emperor, grow up.
During the conversation, in order to show his sincerity, Long Yao even took the initiative to introduce the Martial Emperors of the Dragon Clan. There were a total of five Martial Emperors of the Dragon Clan. There were three Martial Emperors in the Dragon Clan alone, and this did not include Long Yao.
"It's worthy of being the most powerful race among the monsters!" Yang Qi sighed in his heart.
The Dragon Clan and the Dragon Clan are the most powerful races in the Monster Clan, but in fact, the Dragon Clan is even stronger, which is related to the relatively larger base of the Dragon Clan. In comparison, although the Phoenix Clan is also very powerful, the number of its members is not as large as that of the Dragon Clan. If we have to rank the races in the Monster Clan, the Dragon Clan is definitely the undisputed overlord!
"Brother Long, according to what you said, the dragon clan is very likely to participate in the war?" Yang Qi looked at Long Yao in front of him and said.
Long Yao nodded slightly and said in a deep voice, "The Futian Demon Sect offered a huge price, which made it difficult for the Dragon Clan to refuse. In addition, the Dragon Clan intends to participate in the war, which has something to do with you."
"It's about me again?"
Yang Qi frowned and looked at Long Yao in confusion.
Before, Long Yao and others did not participate in the war because of him and the lineage of Emperor Wu Shi behind him. Now that the dragon clan has joined the war, it is also related to him. How come everything is related to him
"Brother Yang, do you still remember His Highness Long Yu? He is an important member of the pro-war faction!" Long Yao looked at Yang Qi and said.
"Could it be..."
Yang Qi's eyes fixed and his face suddenly darkened.
When he helped the Phoenix Clan, he had a conflict with Long Yu, the second prince of the Dragon Clan. Later, he forced Long Yu to take a martial arts oath in the fight for the Dark Demon King's treasure in the Tiancang Star Region. The hatred between him and Long Yu was not low. Long Yu was the second prince of the Dragon Clan, and there were many members of the Dragon Clan who supported him. Now that the Futian Demon Sect was planning to unite with the Dragon Clan, Long Yu was an important representative of the pro-war faction, and there might be reasons for him.
“It’s actually like this!”
Yang Qi gave a bitter smile. Long Yao's words made him understand that Long Yu might have his reasons for advocating war!
After all, even the dragon clan is still slower in cultivation speed than the human geniuses. Long Yu has fought with Yang Qi before, so he naturally knows Yang Qi's methods. In a short period of time, he has no possibility of taking revenge by relying on his own strength. The only one he can rely on is the dragon clan.
However, the Dragon Clan would never go to war with the Cangqiong Palace for Long Yu, nor would they send strong men to attack the heart of the Cangqiong Palace. This would be an act that violates the agreement between the two parties. But if the Dragon Clan and the Futian Demon Sect unite, dealing with Yang Qi would only be a side job!
“Other cultivation forces are unwilling to provoke the Wu Shi Great Emperor, but the Dragon Clan is not afraid. Although the Dragon Clan is only a branch, it is protected by the Dragon Clan. Even the Wu Shi Great Emperor can only punish the Dragon Clan at most, and it is impossible to kill the Dragon Clan.” Long Yao glanced at Yang Qi and continued, “With the support of His Highness Long Yu and others, the pro-war faction in the clan has now gained the upper hand!”
Although the dragon clan is not so domineering as to fight to the death if their members are killed, if a branch of the dragon clan is destroyed, the powerful dragons in the endless universe will definitely not sit idly by. Even a strong man at the level of the Wu Shi Emperor will never be willing to provoke the powerful dragon clan!
Therefore, even if the dragon clan was retaliated by the Wu Shi Emperor because of participating in the war, at most they would lose a few strong men, but the entire dragon clan would not suffer too much loss. This is also the confidence of the dragon clan to dare to participate in the war.
Of course, even though they knew it was impossible for the Dragon Clan to be exterminated by the Wu Shi Great Emperor, for a branch, there were only a few people in the Martial Emperor realm. Once they were retaliated by the Wu Shi Great Emperor, the consequences would be extremely serious. Therefore, the Dragon Clan has not made a final decision until now, but has begun to lean towards joining the war.
Knowing this, Long Yao took the initiative to contact Yang Qi to express the decision of the Cangqiong Star Domain Monster Beast Clan. They were not of the Dragon Clan, and they would suffer huge losses just by participating in the war. If they were retaliated by the Wu Shi Great Emperor again, I am afraid that the Cangqiong Star Domain Monster Beast Clan would really be extinct!
“In fact, in addition to the Dragon Clan, people from the Futian Demon Sect are also contacting the Church of Light. However, the new Emperor of Light has just broken through the Martial Emperor Realm, and the Light Realm has just stabilized, so the Church of Light has not yet decided whether to join the war.” Long Yao paused here, then continued, “However, the Church of Light cares a lot about its territory and population, so the possibility of them joining the war is very high!”
The Church of Light practices with the power of faith, and the population of the territory represents the resources for practice, which is something the Church of Light absolutely cannot refuse. Once the Futian Demon Sect offers a sufficient price, there will be no suspense in the Church of Light's participation in the war.
Yang Qi raised his eyebrows and said in a deep voice, "Even if the Church of Light joins the war, the impact will not be great. The real trouble is still the Dragon Clan!"
The Church of Light now has only one Martial Emperor. Even if they join the battle, Yang Qi's shadow clone can easily deal with the new Martial Emperor. The Dragon Clan has five Martial Emperors. Once they join the battle, they will be an overwhelming force.
Yang Qi seemed to have thought of something, and immediately looked at Long Yao and said, "Oh, Brother Long, the dragon race is naturally good at the way of water. I have some questions about the way of water, and I would like to ask you a few questions."
After hearing this, Long Yao was stunned.
"Although the dragon clan is naturally good at water, you also know that our demon beast clan has limited comprehension, so we are far inferior to the human geniuses of the same level in enlightenment." Long Yao said.
this…
Hearing this, a hint of disappointment flashed in Yang Qi's eyes. It was obvious that Long Yao had no intention of teaching him how to practice the way of water. However, the two of them didn't have much of a relationship, so it was understandable that the other party was unwilling to teach him.
Just when Yang Qi was extremely disappointed, Long Yao in front of him suddenly said, "Although I cannot guide you in your cultivation, I can give you the records about the way of water in the bloodline inheritance."
"What?"
Yang Qi widened his eyes and looked at Long Yao in disbelief.
Long Yao did not instruct him in cultivation, but was willing to give him the record of bloodline inheritance. You should know that the record of bloodline inheritance is definitely more precious than Long Yao's own understanding. It is the foundation of the dragon race's inheritance. Although it is only a partial record, it is definitely invaluable. (To be continued)
