"Brother Moru, we..." Bai Wu looked at Moru who was standing aside and said.
Hearing this, Molu smiled coldly and said, "If you want to die, just go back."
Hearing this, the faces of Bai Wu and the other two changed slightly. The soul-eating insect was indeed an extremely precious insect beast, but no matter how precious the insect beast was, it was not as important as their own life. Judging from the strength that Yang Qi had shown before, the other party was fully capable of killing them!
"Maybe he is just bluffing?" a practitioner asked cautiously.
"bluff?"
Molu gave a bitter smile and continued, "Are you bluffing? Aren't you aware of the injuries on your bodies?"
Whether Yang Qi was bluffing or not, the injuries on their bodies were real. Perhaps Yang Qi might not be able to kill the four of them easily, but if they fought, they would definitely pay a heavy price.
It is easier for practitioners from the Wanshou Sect to enter the Wanxian Mansion than practitioners from the outside world. Because of this, those who can enter the Wanxian Mansion are all practitioners with better talents and potential, and naturally no one is willing to take too much risk.
"We should be thankful that he has no intention of killing us." Molu smiled bitterly and continued, "This person should not be provoked. Do not conflict with him."
Upon hearing this, Bai Wu and the other two nodded bitterly. They had suffered a loss when they encountered the practitioners from the Beast Taming Sect before, and now they were suppressed by Yang Qi, which was a great shock to the originally arrogant Bai Wu and others.
Molu's eyes narrowed, and he said in a deep voice, "Although we can't provoke him, the Ten Thousand Immortals Palace is not just our team. Those guys from the Beast Taming Sect have always wanted to replace our Ten Thousand Beast Sect. If they clash with this guy, it will be a good thing for us."
“Senior Brother, should we…” Bai Wu asked hurriedly.
There is no direct conflict between the Beast Taming Sect and Yang Qi. Emperor Baiwu obviously intends to secretly fan the flames and make Yang Qi and the other two come into conflict with the practitioners of the Beast Taming Sect, so that they can reap the benefits.
"No, this matter cannot be made too obvious. Sooner or later, they will meet in the Ten Thousand Immortals Mansion. By then, there will be no need for us to fan the flames. With the style of the Beast Taming Sect, they will most likely have a conflict." Moru shook his head slightly.
The Beast Taming Sect was ruthless in its actions. During their years of rise, countless practitioners had died at their hands. He didn't believe that the practitioners of the Beast Taming Sect would not be tempted when they saw that Yang Qi and the other man had precious treasures in their hands!
Whoosh~ Whoosh~
Immediately, Moru and the other three did not linger any longer. They flashed and immediately turned into four streams of light, rushing towards the depths of the insect tomb.
When Moru and the other four left, Yang Qi finally arrived at Pang Xuan's side, ready to join forces to deal with the cultivator who was controlled by the soul-eating insect.
Pang Xuan heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Yang Qi rushing over. He also hurriedly warned him, "The soul-eating insect feeds on souls. Once it devours part of a soul, it can simulate a similar soul aura, thereby living in the soul of a cultivator and controlling the cultivator's actions."
Different insect beasts are good at different methods. Yang Qi himself is not a cultivator who practices the way of insect beasts, and his understanding of insect beasts is limited. If he encounters some strange and special insect beasts, even if Yang Qi is powerful, he may suffer losses.
"So weird?"
Yang Qi's face changed slightly. Although he knew that the cultivator in front of him was controlled by the soul-eating insect, he was still quite surprised after learning about the soul-eating insect's methods from Pang Xuan.
The methods of this soul-eating worm were even more bizarre than those of the tarsal corpse worm he had seen before.
Yang Qi looked at the cultivator not far away and said in a deep voice, "If we kill the soul-eating insect, can we save the cultivator who is being controlled?"
"cannot!"
Pang Xuan smiled bitterly and shook his head, then continued, "If it is within a period of time after the soul-eating insects have just entered the cultivator's body, it is possible, but once the soul-eating insects can control the cultivator's actions, it means that the cultivator's soul has been completely devoured."
"Um?"
Hearing this, Yang Qi was stunned and looked at Pang Xuan with a little confusion. Once the soul of a cultivator was devoured, the cultivator should have been lost.
"When the soul-eating insect devours the soul of a practitioner, it will release its own soul, thereby controlling the practitioner. It then relies on the self-recovery ability of the practitioner's soul and uses it as a source of soul." Pang Xuan explained.
hiss~
After hearing this, Yang Qi couldn't help but take a breath. According to Pang Xuan, the cultivators controlled by the soul-eating insects were actually the long-term meal tickets prepared by the soul-eating insects for themselves!
Whoosh~
As he was speaking, the figure had already flown over and attacked Pang Xuan. The soul-eating insect had obviously come from the green-striped mantis, so even if he met Yang Qi, he still chose to attack Pang Xuan.
"The five elements are destroyed!"
Yang Qi shook the Black Phoenix Sword in his hand, and a fierce attack slashed towards the figure.
Whoosh~
The soul-eating insect seemed to have sensed the threat of the sword, and quickly controlled the cultivator to swing the sword in his hand to meet Yang Qi's attack.
Boom!
The blade light and the sword light collided with each other, and an invisible force storm swept over, causing the surrounding space and time to tremble.
"The Way of Destruction!"
After personally fighting with the cultivator controlled by the soul-eating insect, Yang Qi discovered that the cultivator controlled by the soul-eating insect was not only proficient in the original way of destruction, but also integrated soul attacks into the way of destruction, making him even more terrifying.
“No wonder even Pang Xuan is at a disadvantage. Even if it is a cultivator in the middle stage of the two-star martial emperor, if he is not good at the soul path, he will probably be at a disadvantage.”
After just one fight, Yang Qi already had a rough estimate of the strength of the cultivator in front of him. The cultivator controlled by the soul-eating insect was stronger than the ordinary two-star mid-stage Martial Emperor cultivator.
The injuries on the figure's body recovered quickly, and his slightly dull eyes fell on Yang Qi, and he slowly uttered a word, "Die!"
Whoosh~
Before he finished his words, the figure had already turned into a stream of light and rushed towards Yang Qi. Obviously, the previous fight had already made the Soul-Eating Bug realize that Yang Qi was much more difficult to deal with than Pang Xuan.
Buzz~
Facing the cultivator who was coming to kill him, Yang Qi immediately used the Void Realm and activated the Soul Chasing Bell. Instantly, the figure paused slightly. Although the Soul Eater was good at the soul, it was still inferior to Yang Qi who was blessed by the Soul Mirror.
Whoosh~
Although the figure was affected, the sword in his hand did not hesitate at all, and a blade light containing a terrifying aura of destruction slashed towards Yang Qi.
Under the suppression of the virtual world, the explosive strength of the cultivator was obviously affected. Fortunately, the cultivator was controlled by the soul-eating insect. If it were an ordinary two-star mid-stage Martial Emperor cultivator, he would only be suppressed even more miserably.
"Break it for me!"
Facing the incoming sword light, Yang Qi shook the Black Phoenix Sword in his hand, which turned into a stream of light and went straight up to meet it.
Poof!
The sword pierced through the figure's attack and landed on the figure without slowing down, piercing through the figure's body and leaving a transparent hole. (To be continued)
